Overnight oats are oh so easy to prepare. All you need is porridge oats, your choice of milk and a little bit of creativity. Here are some of our favourites.
You will need a cup of oats, a handful of berries frozen berries are fine as they'll thaw overnight) a spoonful of honey and your choice of nuts and seeds or healthy blend.
We absolutely love the Alchemy Organic Beauty Elixir. The blend combines goji, acai and camu camu, also rich sources of vitamin C essential for healthy collagen production, with baobab, pea protein and wheatgrass to help repair and growth. A rich source of plant protein, vitamin C, beta carotene, vitamin E and iron.
Pop everything in a mason jar and leave overnight. The oats will absorb the milk and the liquid from the berries, leaving a vibrant chilled oaty breakfast in the morning.
There's no denying the banana is an awesome breakfast food. Rich in potassium and great for energy, you can add in slightly too ripe bananas for added sweetness without the need for honey. The raisins will also add sweetness and you can almost convince yourself you're eating an oatmeal and raisin cookie.
Put your oats, chopped banana, milk and a few raisins in the jar along with a few crushed walnuts for texture and leave overnight. If you need a little extra something in the mornings add a spoonful of the Energy Elixir from Alchemy Organic.
The perfect summer mix. Make up your oats as before, but add in chopped strawberries, mango and some dried coconut for crunch and added tropical taste. You can also boost the oats with a spoonful of Alchemy Organic Morning Elixir. This sumptuous blend of vegan plant protein and super nutrients is designed to support your daily diet and help you to feel naturally satisfied. It can be taken as a 10g shot with water or use 40g as a breakfast option to flood your body with micronutrients and help keep you satisfied until lunch.
