We all lead such busy lives and with that, it's natural to feel stressed from time to time. However, when stress starts to take over our lives, it's necessary to take a step back and think of ways we can relax. Not only does stress affect our mental health, but it can also take a toll on our physical health and outer appearance.
This month, we're stressing the importance of balance and relaxation - and that includes using the right skincare to help with stressed-out skin or even finding an activity that reduces stress (i.e. yoga).
Here are a few products I've been loving whenever I need a little bit of a timeout...
My eyes are usually the first to show that I'm tired so I like to first add these eye gels in the morning when I'm getting ready and then use the eye pen right after. The pen is super convenient to carry with you, so it's easy to touch up or even use while I'm traveling. The cooling sensation lets me know it's working and my eyes look less puffy and tired.
If my skin is looking dry and dull, this BIOEFFECT duo is the perfect fix. The first step has hyaluronic acid to keep my skin looking plump and hydrated and the EGF helps reduce any fine lines. I especially love the second step when I'm walking around London since it protects my skin from all the pollutants in the air.
After a long day at work, I try to do a relaxing activity to get my mind off stress. Yoga is one of my fave exercises to do since I find that with the controlled breathing and very zen atmosphere, yoga makes me feel more relaxed and present in the moment. When I get home from yoga, this bath soak is the perfect way to relax my muscles and have some alone time.
As a nightcap, I'll have this tea in the bath or in bed. There's something so soothing about drinking warm tea at night, and having a nightly routine really helps me sleep better.
