Boost Your Immunity with This Spicy Coconut Mylk Drink

 

Experts say that this year's flu season has been the worst in the UK since 2011!

 

While everyone around you maybe calling out of work and coughing, you can boost your immune system by eating the right foods.  Combined with turmeric, black pepper, and ginger (all of which are anti-inflammatory) plus Alchemy's Energy Elixir (which contains Camu Camu, a superfood packed with Vitamin C), this drink will give your immune system the right kick to start its day.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Energy Elixir
  • 1 tsp reishi
  • 1 cup coconut mylk
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 grinds of black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ginger ground or fresh (just pop a slice into your mug to infuse)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • dash of raw honey if you need

 

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a pan.  Whisk thoroughly while warming to properly mix the drink.  Once warm, add to a blender to froth the liquid to create a latte-like foam.
