Concealer can do wonders after late nights, but the key to beating puffy eyes is to make sure you don't have to cover up anything at all. NB: If you are concealing your dark circles, choose a light product with light reflecting particles otherwise you run the risk of the make up 'caking' under the eye. If you're waking up with puffy, sore & tired looking eyes every day then it could be time to look into your routine and make some changes. here ate 4 quick steps to help you look bright eyed and bushy tailed in no time at all. 1. Cut down on salt Seriously. Sodium causes us to retain fluid in our bodies and that can sometimes manifest itself by holding puffiness around our eyes. Try cutting down your intake for a month and see if there's a difference. It could be just the trick you need. 2. Hydrate We've said it before and we'll say it again. You HAVE to keep yourself hydrated if you want any chance of your skin looking healthy. Water is so incredibly important. It's the very foundation of a decent beauty routine. It helps flush out the bad stuff in our system and it makes skin look plumper, fuller and clearer. We all know we should be drinking our 8 glasses a day, but how many of us actually do it? If you're reading this right now, go and fill a glass. You'll thank us for it later. 3. Soothe Sometimes you just need to soothe your eyes. We spend so much time using screens these days, we can strain them easily leading to dry, sore tired eyes which puff up and look angry. The easiest thing to do here, is just soothe them with a product designed to de-stress your eyes.Keep some cooling gels on hand for emergencies (especially if you're planning a late night...!) and you should experience instant relief.
4. Moisturise The eye area is really very sensitive, so usually will need a moisturiser specifically designed for it.
